I'm very happy to hear Sandy is doing better and I might want that poster if it is not folded. I remember seeing it once at the Chicago Music Store here in Tuscon!

Hey Mercedes from Kittie is on rockgrl magazine too! Im a big Kittie fan too, they started really young like the almighty Runaways. (another similarity is the number of bassists both bands have gone trough! [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img] )

Alma, I never knew Kittie had numerous bass players! I've tried them out, but never got really into them. Have you ever listened to the late, great Betty Blowtorch? If you haven't, give them a try. I fell in love with them at first sight when I saw their drummer wearing a RUNAWAYS T-Shirt! They really rocked(sadly, the lead singer was killed).

Also, just to stay on the Sandy West topic: I've written her a few emails, telling her how amazing I think her drumming is and how fans still love her, but have never gotten one back. Anyone else out there with better luck than me?

Hey Jett, I emailed Sandy about 5 years ago and got a response, then emailed her back a couple of times (after buying her cd 'The Beat is Back), but never received any futher responses. I've been fortunate to get responses back from everyone, except Joan and Lita. The email I sent to Lita was never opened and the website I got from went down shortly thereafter.

I have heard great things about Betty Blowtorch.. Bianca's death was a tragedy! Here in LA several local bands got together to perform in several memorial shows for her. I really need to check em out!
